Hale is a powerful remote Healthcare tool suite for doctors and their patients to track and manage their healthcare remotely. Doctors can perform video visits, monitor their patient's health through connected devices, and moore, while patients recieve one smooth and contained experience through a provider-branded app.
During my nearly two years at Hale I was acted as the staff product designer working alongside our cofounder – working on every new feature for the provider app, the marketing website, or graphic art needs. Prior to my joining, the team at Awake – lead by Roberto Tagliabue - had worked kickstart the product by laying out the foundation mobile app and worked alongside us as we prepared the product for market.
To initiate care, patients have the option to directly report symptoms they're experiencing through a robust triage experience. When the patient creates a new case they are greeted with steps to help their doctor pinpoint what is wrong without the need of the patient going into the office. Most requests are for common ailments and can be treated at home if the patient knows what's wrong with them. Once the doctor has received and reviwed the triage report, they can send the patient reading and self-treatment materials from the Mayo Clinic library, request more information by assigning another triage questionnaire, prescribe medication that can be ordered through the app, or simply reply with a freeform message.
